Unfortunately more misinformation and lies.
The "Special capacitors" one is easy to debunk. Such a part would have a very high price tag, and would be made in very small quantities, pushing the price up further. No evidence of such a component has been seen.
The "Long run time" wand is NOT a myth, but.... The claim was made that this was achieved with "special capacitors". In a side by side test using an infrared camera, I measured the heat produced by one of these "special" wands against a brand new factory stock BD-10 unit. NO DIFFERENCE. The trick is that you remove the adjustment knob and add one or two more plastic washers under the knob, preventing the wand from going to full power.
If the "special" wand output is measured, then one can set an unmodified wand to the same output energy and then you will find that it too will be able to run much longer without overheating! The little washers cost about $0.03 each from McMaster Carr. Actually, pretty cheap insurance, and your wand will last longer this way. But don't pay big bucks for this little hack.
