Ok, that's bullshit but as hard as these are to find, you'd think so. Even harder to find them at sane prices. The vintage wand kits used clips like these to mount the electrodes, in a pleasing arrangement. So much classier than a pile of electrodes in a box eh?
This is a kit for mounting six electrodes. What's included is six clips, six screws, and six nuts.
These clips work really well on Pegboard cut to fit your case, and then covered with Velvet or Satin. Add a layer of 1/4 inch foam below the cloth for a super luxurious feel.
These may or may not work well with larger diameter electrodes like my art electrodes, or specialty electrodes from other vendors. The clips mount the electrodes roughly 1/4 inch above the backboard.
Optimum fit is with electrodes which are 10mm diameter measured just above the metal part of the electrode.
The electrodes pictured are not included, but I know where you can buy them!

CAUTION: While these electrodes are crafted from the highest quality annealed borosilicate glass, I do not recommend that you use them as an ignition source in fire play. Thermal shock can cause cracks in the glass which will let air into the tube and spoil the discharge. Is that a risk that you need to take with a one of a kind art piece? If you choose to do so, proceed at your own risk.
I do not recommend these pieces for internal play.

DrVonHertz is a very knowledgeable person in the electro-play community who has reinvigorated the scene with unique products and the free sharing of detailed information. Clips of this style were used in antique violet ray kits and work very very well. The clips hold the electrodes very snuggly, and they work with pretty much every 7/16th electrode I have: even some slightly off size ones. Though he makes no guarantees they do work with my two art glass electrodes, and with some Chinese off sizero elwcteodes. I have yet to test them with 11mm European electrodes, which are a bit smaller, but suspect they will work out since the tolerance is tiny. Personally I'm doing away with foam as much as I can and using these. I do hope that as these are used more widely the price will come down.
